A secluded beach in Duino.

Today in seminar, we continued our perusal of one another’s music with listening and discussion of works by both me and Stefano. Second versions of our etudes were shared, and plans for the coming weeks are beginning to take shape.

But the big event of the day, for me, was my first experience swimming in the Adriatic, accompanied by four IMFA participants. The water was chilly but refreshing, and the view of the cliffs and surrounding environs was breathtaking. I hope to come back to this spot most days!
